The Vale of Aylesbury Model Engineering Society is situated between Bicester and Aylesbury just off the A41 at Quainton. It shares the site with Buckinghamshire Railway Museum and one entrance fee gives you access to both venues. Whilst the railway museum restores and operates full size railway stock VAMES concentrates its efforts on scale models.Visit and be amazed at the skill of their members to design and construct working models of yesteryear. The Northampton & Lamport Railway is a steam and heritage diesel operated tourist railway located in the Northamptonshire countryside just 5 miles from Northampton, within easy reach of the motorway network.

Why not drop in for a train ride or a snack at the Platform 3 Buffet?
